My name is Arend van der Salm. I live with my wife and two children in Vlaardingen, a heavilly light polluted city next to Rotterdam in Holland. As a child I was already fascinated by the moon and stars. On a regular basis I tried to make photos using my 4.5 inch reflector.
In 2005 I restarted with astrophotography, using cooled CCD cameras. My main interest lies in deepsky photography and every now and then moon and planets.
